• Major life event causing high levels of depression/anxiety/stress
• Grief after a loss
• Struggles with Sobriety
• General Increased Depression or Anxiety limiting daily function
• PTSD/Trauma
• Postpartum Depression
• Need for increased therapy visits of more than twice per week

Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a structured outpatient program that can assist in the transition from inpatient treatment to independent living OR provide a higher level of support to someone needing more frequent therapy than offered by seeing their traditional outpatient provider. This program includes medication management with a psychiatrist and provides structured group therapy support Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm. The length of treatment for this program is approximately two to four weeks and is adjusted based on individual needs.

Intensive outpatient provides structured group therapy support for those in need of more frequent, interactive and robust therapy. This program is held Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm and includes a virtual option. This program is frequently, but not always, a step-down level of care for patients who have been in acute inpatient care or the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The length of treatment is approximately two to four weeks and is adjusted based on individual needs.

Springwoods Behavioral Health accepts referrals from the professional community (doctors, hospitals, therapists, social workers, nurses, schools, courts and community agencies) as well as from families.

Qualified assessment and referral staff perform assessments 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, at no charge. Each assessment is evaluated by a physician who recommends the appropriate level of care for treatment. Recommendations are then discussed with the patient and family to assist in making an informed decision about treatment.
