Springwoods Behavioral Health accepts referrals from the professional community (doctors, hospitals, therapists, social workers, nurses, agencies, nursing homes and assisted living facilities) as well as from individuals and families. Qualified assessment and referral staff perform psychiatric assessments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no charge. Each assessment is evaluated by a physician who recommends the appropriate level of care or treatment. Recommendations are then discussed with the patient and family to assist in making an informed decision about treatment.

Upon arrival at Springwoods, the interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of doctors, nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals, will guide the patient toward a path of healing in a secure and therapeutic environment.
